Paul and Carol Brown met at art college and, after working separately for 20 years, started Newleaf Creative when they moved to Suffolk. Combining their experience in design and digital media, they set out to help small businesses promote their products and services professionally. Ten years later, they continue to bring creativity, clarity, and a personal touch to every project, supporting local businesses in standing out and communicating with confidence.
Paul has worked for many years as a designer and creative director, leading projects across branding, print, digital, and motion graphics. Over the course of his career, he has worked on major corporate accounts including Siemens, Nationwide Building Society, and Transport for London, leading design teams and delivering high-profile creative projects. Today, he focuses on working with smaller businesses, start-ups, and charities, using that experience to make a real difference and help organisations grow with confidence.
Carol trained as an illustrator and has extensive experience in visual storytelling, illustration, and animation. She worked for many years as a freelance designer and illustrator, developing a versatile style and collaborating with a wide range of clients across print and digital media. She has a particular enthusiasm for handmade, tactile design, and her work brings ideas to life in a clear and engaging way, adding personality and originality to every project.
